For four years, I was Creative Director for The Yacht Week, the market leading sailing event, leading the strategy, production and creation of all marketing campaigns for the company. From defined the company’s strategic vision, building the messaging and visual frameworks, overseeing filmmakers and photographers during our events as well as guiding the final asset production and building a holistic online marketing strategy.
In 2017, we created two after movies to cater to our diverse audiences. 'The Grand Plan' centered around The Yacht Week's Swedish heritage, whilst 'We are The Yacht Week' highlighted the essence of our people. These movies epitomised our company's core purpose: to showcase the vibrant spirit that defines us.
During my time with The Yacht Week guest numbers more than doubled (1900 guests, 2015 vs +4000 guests, 2017) reaching an increase in revenue of +52% in 2017 (record for the company) and helped grow our events from 3 European destinations (Croatia, Italy and Greece) to host more than 8 different global destinations and 60+ sailing weeks.
